Any skiing/boarding outside this time is the responsibility of the party leader. Most LEAs will only allow school children to ski outside lesson time under qualified supervision (check out our ASCL courses). * It is a legal requirement for all skiers and boarders up to14 years of age to wear a helmet on the mountain (see link above to Snowco website) * We regret we are unable to take children under the age of 7 into our snowsport school. It is absolutely essential that you, as party leader, make full provision for this eventuality (call for more details) * You will be provided with a provisional itinerary, normally in September preceeding your trip. The final version, together with your final rooming list, will follow approximately 2 - 3 weeks prior to departure * All Interski coaches will be equipped with DVD facilities (click here for more info on travel) * Each person's main piece of baggage should be no more than 30" x 15" x 15". * It is a legal requirement that all travellers wear a lap belt at all times on the coach. Recent legislation puts the responsibility clearly on the party leader * You will be allocated seat numbers for your coach journey. Seats 1 & 2 are normally allocated to the drivers (primarily for use by the 2nd driver through the night) * You may find that your itinerary shows seat numbers allocated to instructors. All will have had their attention drawn to the Interski travel conditions, have made a declaration of suitability and are requested to observe all standards as laid down by the party leader. This facility forms a crucial part of the Interski operation. * Please remind group members to pack a pair of ski socks in their hand luggage as a ski fit may be carried out immediately upon arrival. Clients travelling to Courmayeur should ensure they have suitable shoes\jacket\ski socks as ski fit will take place on the mountain * Schools travelling in an off-peak week during their school's term-time who have opted for the ex gratia contribution to their school funds will receive a cheque for the relevant amount approximately one week prior to departure. Please note that payments are made strictly on groups of 10 - no pro rata payments are made |
