RESORTS MANAGER (MEDIA & MARKETING)
After five months in Italy as Resort Support, James joined Interski on a full-time basis
in summer 2006 when he was employed to
produce a series of new promotional DVDs. He soon had a pile of other projects too - magazine adverts, press releases, posters and other marketing material!
James left the University of Central
Lancashire in 2005 with a 2:1 BA (Hons) in
Journalism and PG Diploma in Multimedia
Computing.
Since learning to ski at the age of eleven, James has skied competitively at home and
abroad for six years and misses training at his home club, Pendle.
James is now a
qualified BASI level 2 instructor and Alpine Performance Coach Level 1. He is training
towards his ISIA qualification
and the European Speed Test this season.
In Italy (December - May), James is responsible for Interski's unique in-resort Snowshots
service and all stock filming/photography to be used for forthcoming marketing. He
works with other members of the management team to ensure the overseas operation
runs smoothly. James is also involved in training instructors for the technical part of their
regional validation test.
