Glencoe
Skiing in Glencoe
Previously known as The White Corries Ski Centre, Glencoe offers skiers some of the most dramatic mountain scenery in Britain. This is the oldest ski area in Scotland having first opened with a single tow lift back in 1955. The lift system has now been modernised and features a network of 3 chairlifts and 6 drag lifts, giving skiers quick and efficient access to the ski area.
Glencoe offers some incredible scenery, possibly the finest views in all of Scotland, as well as boasting the longest and steepest runs of all the Scottish ski resorts. This is a great destination for school groups, particularly beginners, looking for a first taste of skiing.
When the conditions are good, there are few finer places to ski than Scotland, but we would be the first to acknowledge that the snowfall does not come with the same guarantees as the bigger resorts across Europe. With this in mind, we can arrange an alternative adventure itinerary to ensure your group has a Plan B, just in case the snow conditions aren't keeping to their side of the bargain.
- The longest and steepest runs in Scotland
- Great ski area for beginners
- Stunning scenery
- Perfect, compact setting for a school ski trip
