Glenshee
Skiing in GLenshee
Glenshee has the notoriety of being the largest snowsports area in Great Britain, making it a fabulous choice for your school ski trip. With no less than 40km of pisted runs, there is more than enough skiing here to keep students busy for the duration of your trip. Glenshee is located very centrally in Scotland and is easily accessible, despite its remote location. It's often referred to as the Three Glens in a gentle wink to draw comparisons to France's Trois Vallèes.
The ski area is in fact spread across four different mountains and covers a total area of 2,000 acres. The longest single run, at 2km in length is the Glas Maol, which is a genuine contender for the best piste in Scotland.
When the conditions are good, there are few finer places to ski than Scotland, and few finer in Scotland than Glenshee. We would, however, be the first to acknowledge that the snowfall does not come with the same guarantees as the bigger resorts across Europe. With this in mind, we can arrange an alternative adventure itinerary to ensure your group has a Plan B, just in case the snow conditions aren't sticking to their side of the bargain.
