Formigal
Skiing in Formigal
Formigal is one of Spain’s best kept secrets – and that’s no mean feat considering its exceptional size! Don’t be put off by the relatively low level as the North facing aspects ensure good conditions throughout the winter.
Formigal offers no fewer than 176km of piste, with a great mix of runs for all abilities including 52 red runs. The extensive lift system includes almost 40 different installations, ensuring you’re whisked quickly to the top of each run. To make it even better, Formigal is also linked with nearby Panticosa. Although the resorts aren’t linked by piste, an efficient ground transport system allows skiers the ability to tackle both areas – Formigal is the signicantly larger of the two.
Ski resorts in Spain also offer your students the chance to practice their spoken Spanish, ensuring they maximise the educational value a ski trip offers. Formigal really is a great choice for your school ski trip.
