Bardonecchia

Skiing in Bardonecchia
Bardonecchia is perhaps most famous for hosting the snowboarding events at the 2006 Winter Olympics, lending it a level of prestige that few resorts can rival.
The ski resort sits in Italy’s Piemonte region, not from French border. There is a very impressive 140km of piste on offer and with skiing up to 2750m, the high altitude ensures snow conditions are good throughout the winter, backed by a large network of snowmaking facilities.
The town itself is a bustling place with a nice vibe. Hotels and other amenities are all within easy walking distance of the ski hire and lifts, giving it a very alpine village feel. Some slopes finish back at the village, allowing you to ski back to the base every day.
- Great ski resort for all abilities
- Compact resort village
- Large ski area
- Ideal for bigger groups
